The Best Paper Award was presented to Romain Boman and Jean-Philippe Ponthot for their paper entitled "Continuous Roll Forming Simulation using Arbitrary Lagrangian Eulerian Formalism".

For the first time in the history of the SheMet conference, a Best Paper for Young Researchers Award was presented. This award was handed over to Kunning Zhao, Burkhard Wietbrock and Gerhard Hirt for their paper "Micro Warm Coining of Stainless Steel Sheets Using Electric Conductive Heating".
