The conference will be held on the city campus of the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, in the Mgr. Sencie Institute, Erasmusplein 2, located in the centre of Leuven. Whether it is one of the numerous beer cellars of the Old Market, the restaurants around the famous Town Hall, or the peace and tranquility of the béguinage, listed as World Heritage by UNESCO, the city of Leuven has a lot to offer. After 580 years as a university, Leuven still attracts the Flemish youth and nurtures it on wisdom, erudition and broad mindedness. Leuven is located in the centre of Belgium only 30 km from Brussels and 20 km from Brussels National Airport.

How to reach Leuven
By car
Taking the highway E40 Brussels-Leuven-Liège (Luttich)-Aachen. On this highway you have to exit 15 Leuven. Follow the indication Leuven or Leuven Centrum. (Mind not to follow the indications Hasselt-Genk-A2 highway). On the circular road arround Leuven, Turn into the Naamsestraat. Nearly into the center, turn into the "St.Michielsstraat". The "Maria Theresia College" is now on your right hand side. You can park your car in the streets (paying) or in the "Laduze parking" (paying) were you can store your car for a longer period. To get there, follow the circular road around Leuven and turn into the "Blijde Inkomststraat". At the end of this street, at the "Ladeuze plein" there is a large underground parking.

By train
From Brussels take a train in the direction Luik/Liège/Hasselt/Genk/Maastricht or Luik/Liège/Welkenraedt. There are trains every half hour. Do not take the train to Louvain-la-Neuve! The station is indicated on the detailed city map of Leuven.

By plane
Brussels-National airport is between Brussels and Leuven, almost along the E40 highway. You can reach Leuven by train from the airport (4,80€), first taking a train to Brussel Noord or Brussel Central Station. Switch there to a train to Leuven. You can also take a taxi to Leuven which is rather expensive (50€-70€). Taxidrivers coming from Brussels sometimes have difficulties finding your destination in Leuven! If you do take a taxi make sure to take an offcial taxi at the official taxi stand.
