How to reach Aula Zegher Van Hee?
The Faculty of Law is located at
Tiensestraat 41, in the middle of the City Center,
close to the town hall, library and cathedral. The Aula Zegher Van
Hee is located within the old buildings. Specific signs will be
posted to help you find the registration desk.
By Plane to Brussels
(Zaventem)
You will probably land at Zaventem, at the Brussels National
Airport. This airport is only a few miles away from the city
centre. The easiest way to get from the airport to Leuven is by
train. The railway station is located at the lower floor of the
airport terminal and you can immediately buy your train ticket
there.
By Train
Take a train (time tables) with destinationLeuven or Louvain.
DO NOT take a train with destination Louvain-la-Neuve! This
is a different city! From Brussel-Noord (Bruxelles-Nord), there are
at least 3 trains to Leuven each hour. Most trains with final
destination Maastricht, Koln, Eupen, Welkenraedt, Hasselt, Landen
or Genk have stops in Leuven. In front of the Leuven railway
station you can take a taxi or you can walk through
‘Bondgenotenlaan’ to the cathedral. Keep to the left
side of the street. Once you arrive at the
‘Fochplein’ you will find de
‘Tiensestraat’.
By Car (coming from Brussels or Liege)
Take the highway E40 Brussels-Liege (Luik). Leave the E40 at the
exit to highway E314(A2) with directions Leuven/Genk/Hasselt. Keep
to the right, exit 15 on highway E314(A2) (direction
Genk/Hasselt/Aken) and follow the signs Leuven.
The nearest underground parking facility is the
Parking Ladeuze. On the ring road follow till the Tiensepoort
to enter the city center. This road (Blijde Inkomstraat) brings you
to the Ladeuzeplein.
