About us
In this knowledge cluster, we direct our scientific studies in close alignment with the development of new and innovative technologies that have a distinct contribution to the advancement of our society:
- Flow and Combustion: we study the instabilities in swirling flows and parallel jets in order to arrive at novel types of gas burners.
- Industrial Safety: we study combustion and ignition in industrial settings in order to widen the scope of the safe use of fuels.
- Combustion Engines: we focus on vehicle propulsion systems and optimal control in order to arrive at intelligent driver assistance models.
- Blue Renewables: we combine smart mechanics, fluid flow and optimal control in order to create new renewable energy devices.
