Robot-Assisted Surgery Group
The Robot Assisted Surgery or RAS-group of the Department of Mechanical Engineering is headed by professors Hendrik Van Brussel and Dominiek Reynaerts from PMA for control and micromechanical issues, professor Jos Vander Sloten from BMGO for the biomechanical input. Research takes place in tight collaboration with the university hospital UZ.Leuven.
This site gives an overview of the activities of the RAS-group. Additional information is also available at the BMGO site.
