Euro Inox
Euro Inox is the European market development association for Stainless Steel.
The members of Euro Inox include:
- European stainless steel producers
- National stainless steel development associations
- Development associations of the alloying element industries.
A prime objective of Euro Inox is to create awareness of the unique properties of stainless steels and to further their use in existing applications and in new markets.
To assist this purpose, Euro Inox organises conferences and seminars, and issues guidance in printed form, and electronic format, to enable architects, designers, specifiers, fabricators, and end users, to become more familiar with the material.
On world average, every kilogram of stainless steel contains 600 grams of recycled ferrous metal. As material selection is increasingly based on ecological criteria, the combination of
- Durability (which is a contribution to waste saving)
- Recyclability (i.e. the saving of primary raw materials) and
- Neutrality (the prevention of contamination),
confers a high ecological profile to stainless steel.
